Ramp Cultivation Workshop
April 6 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, Rutland, OH — Join us as we enjoy the arrival of spring and discuss this iconic springtime herb. This event will provide participants with an overview of how to sustainably cultivate, manage, and market ramps in the forest or garden. Topics covered will include ramp conservation, life cycles, site selection, techniques for both forest and raised bed cultivation, and more.
Heartwood 32nd Annual Forest Council
SAVE THE DATE – Heartwood will be holding its 32nd annual Forest Council gathering in southeast Ohio May 24-27, 2024, with keynote speaker Chad Hanson of the John Muir Project. This year’s gathering will be held at the United Plant Savers botanical sanctuary in Rutland, OH.
