Say “No” to Glyphosate & Get A Special Bonus

Offer expires: May 8

We were recently approached to participate in a stream restoration project funded by a major environmental nonprofit. The catch? We had to agree to allow glyphosate to be sprayed on our land. The nonprofit thought we’d be unable to meet the state and federal standards for invasive plant removal without it. We disagreed.

We have stewarded the Botanical Sanctuary here in Rutland, Ohio for more than 30 years without the use of synthetic chemicals. Spraying now would have meant damaging ecological impact, covering our landscape in carcinogens, and harming future biodiversity.

We are projected to spend roughly $200,000 over the next five years to remove invasive plants the hard way. If everyone who sees this page rejoined as a member today, we’d have the funds to move forward. That’s how much your support matters.

Will you rejoin the United Plant Savers member community in support of biodiversity and a no-spray Sanctuary?

We’d love to have you back.
Memberships start at just $45/year.
